60+ family-friendly events in and around Cardiff for Halloween and half term October/November 2022

Cardiff

It’s half term for most schools in Wales next week and with it comes more events than you can shake a (broom) stick at. Some of the dates of the pick your own pumpkin events have sold out but there are still plenty of options for family-friendly activities. Plus there are plenty of non-Halloween themed events too, including the free Night of the Animal Wall trail as part of City of Arcades Week, and BrickLive’s The Ocean Show in Mermaid Quay, which sees giant brick models of sea creatures.

It’s impossible to include everything in this guide… I’m sure you can imagine how long it takes to put together… so do let me know anything I have missed in the comments on my social media channels.

All events are subject to change. Please check with organisers to avoid disappointment.

Thanks so much for reading. I hope you find something that suits you and your family.

Please do give this post a like, comment or share on social media and help Cardiff Mummy Says keep on showing up in people’s timelines.

Follow Cardiff Mummy Says on Facebook Instagram (I post a lot of events and days out ideas in my Stories and save these in my Highlights) and Twitter for more ideas of local family events and activities.
