My July 2016 Instagram highlights

Instagram

Every month, I collate the best of my month on the Cardiff Mummy Says Instagram feed here on my blog. It took me a while to get the hang of Instagram, but it’s now one of my favourite social networks, inspiring me every day with the beautiful photos and sense of community.

This month, the weather has been up and down, but we’ve been making the most of the school summer holidays by getting out and about and exploring as much as we can.

We had a trip to Barry Island with the cylch meithrin (Welsh playgroup) my boys attend, an extended family gathering at Porthkerry Country Park in Barry, we’ve been to Roath Park, Heath Park, Bute Park and the National Museum Cardiff, as well as the beautiful Parc Slip Nature Reserve. Incidentally, all of these places are free to visit.

I’ve been thrilled to gain more than 400 new followers in July and even more excited that my photos have been chosen to be featured by a few of the Insta communities I take part in, such as #heartfluttermoments #saturdaysiblings #familytravelmoment #lovelifeoutside and #rememberingthesedays

I’ve been working so hard on improving my photography so this really means a lot.

Here’s this month’s round up:

My personal favourite photo this month is this one of my three climbing a gate at Parc Slip. The blue skies are just gorgeous and I love seeing them getting on so well during the school summer holidays.
