About
Cardiff Mummy Says is a lifestyle blog for parents living in Cardiff and beyond. Written by Cathryn Scott – a mother of three children aged eight and under and a journalist and editor with more than 15 years of experience – it features commentary on the ups and downs of parenting alongside information on local family-friendly events and activities.
Cathryn started writing Cardiff Mummy Says in 2014 firstly because there was no other publications catering for parents in South Wales; and secondly because as a freelance journalist passionate about local media there was nowhere for her to write about her experiences.
The site now gets around 50,000 page views a month and has a social media following of around 20,000.
Cardiff Mummy Says is happy to accept advertising relevant to its readership, and to work with brands and companies on relevant reviews and sponsored posts.
Cardiff Mummy Says is a family blogger ambassador for National Museum Wales, The Red Dragon Centre and Cymraeg i Blant; and has reviewed countless family-friendly attractions in South Wales and beyond. Cathryn is passionate about helping families discover new places to visit and creating happy experiences and memories.
Cardiff Mummy Says has worked with brands including Aviva Community Fund; Amex; Love Food Hate Waste; Admiral Insurance, Scottish Friendly; Petplan; Start-rite; Smiggle; and many more.
