Paid collaboration with Carrot Productions There’s something so magically festive about The Snowman. The animated favourite has been delighting audiences since it was first broadcast in 1982 and, for many families (ours included), watching it is a much-loved annual Christmas tradition. This year, you can experience The Snowman as never...
Thank you to Forage Farm for providing us with complimentary entry and a pumpkin each in exchange for this post We had such a fun afternoon at Forage Farm’s Pick Your Own Pumpkin event. We all ended up covered in mud but we laughed so, so much as we...
AD/Paid collaboration with Mermaid Quay How fitting that the UK’s largest animatronic dragon should make its debut public appearance in Cardiff. After all, what other country is lucky enough to have a red dragon on its flag? It’s likely you’ll hear the dragon’s roar before you see it. And at...

It was so wonderful to step back inside Wales Millennium Centre yesterday. As a family we are huge theatre fans and also used to regularly attend their free family creative art events, so it’s somewhere we’ve really missed over the last year and a half. Although the big stage productions...
We were provided with complimentary tickets for Pinocchio at Cardiff Castlefor the purpose of this review A sunny afternoon at Cardiff Castle provided the perfect backdrop for the first theatre show we have watched in over a year and a half. And as an outdoor performance with socially distanced seating,...
It’s taken me a few days to summon up the energy to write this… but last Wednesday I ran a marathon. All on my own! I dropped my children to school, ran and ran, and then returned to school to pick them up. It was hard work. It was physically...
