Meet iconic Star Wars characters at The Red Dragon Centre, Cardiff this Saturday in celebration of new film The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Force will be well and truly in Cardiff Bay this Saturday as legendary Star Wars characters head to The Red Dragon Centre for a day of galactic fun.

Celebrate new film The Mandalorian and Grogu by meeting iconic Star Wars heroes and villains, who will be patrolling the centre and posing for pictures with visitors from 12pm-4pm this Saturday 23 May. 

It’s a free event in aid of Dreams & Wishes Charity, with donations on the day appreciated. The legendary characters come from UK Garrison, all volunteers who build and wear screen-accurate costumes, not just for fun, but to make a difference.

You can book now to watch the film at the Odeon, in IMAX, IMAX 3D, 3D, laser and 2D; plus head to one of the Centre’s restaurants or coffee shop, or head to Hollywood Bowl for 10 pin action and arcade game fun. You can also grab a donut from WhoCult who have limited edition Star Wars donut on sale.

Plus Sunday 24 May sees a day of Henna, colour and craft with five talented artists from 12pm-5pm (charges apply), free lantern making crafts and face painting (12-4pm), and local makers’ market (12pm-5pm).
